M&M gets some new legs.

With all the excitement of Terry, I’ve forgotten to post about the new suspension that went into M&M a few weekends ago.

Gratuitous wheel shot.

Needs moar low.

Success!

It’s then customary to wind the new Teins all the way down to take some sweet photos.

I don’t know how the cool kids do it, but I can only imagine destroying my guards at the next track day at this height!

Also found it a bit strange that when all the suspension is wound down the fronts are noticeably lower than the rears. Not keen on removing collars (sorry Tom :P) so after this photo the car went back on stands and was wound back up to match the rears.

Much to the disgust of the Micra boys, it’s now sitting at almost the same height as the old suspension. Hellafunctional yo!

Haven’t had a chance to drive the roadster much since then (to busy playing with starlets!) however, initial impressions are good. Ride is still comfortable yet firm. I’m looking forward to properly testing the new set up at Deca in a fortnight!

Big thanks to Dan, Tom and Mugsee for the suspension help!

By now the other exe boys have arrived to drink beer and work on their cars… in that order.

Cheezel was getting Albert ready for Winton. First step was to try get a jack under him haha.

Tom decides to ditch the meshies on Paddington…

To test fit Albert’s RPF1’s.

I much prefer the SSR’s on Sir Paddington.

Mugsee decides to get in on the RPF1 testing action by borrowing the wheels off Tian’s 350z.

Pokey!

I also found this extremely amusing. Haha. 😀
